Check-ins, not surveillance
Most location apps follow a child all day. Family Safety does the opposite: nothing is shared until your child taps, and they can always see what they shared and who looked at it.
What Family Safety does
One tap to say "I'm safe"
"Mom is asking you to check in 💛" — your child taps I'm safe and shares where they are, just that once. They can add how they're feeling and a quick note back to you.
Check-ins on a schedule
Every weekday at 3:30, or whenever you choose. Quiet hours are respected, and asks are limited so nobody gets pestered.
If there's no answer
Opti reminds after 10 minutes, then gives your child a quick call. Still nothing? Every parent is told, with the last place they shared and a Call button.
A quiet "I need help"
Your child taps I need help: every parent is alerted at once and sees their location for up to an hour while their app is open. Your child sees the local emergency number and can stop sharing any time.
Kids without a phone app
A younger child can get check-in calls instead — Opti calls, they say "yes" if they're safe.
Everyone sees everything
Every request, schedule change, location view and SOS is visible to every parent in the household — and your child can see what was shared and who looked.
Built to protect, not to control
Only parents can switch it on, only children under 18 can be added, and adults take part only by their own choice. Asks are rate-limited, quiet hours apply, and every action is logged for every parent to see. OptiAI® is not an emergency service.
