Opti call alerts

Reminders you can talk back to

Opti phones you before the things that matter and holds a real conversation, so you can change the plan without opening an app — and it won't let a must-not-miss item slip.

More than a ring and a recording

Most reminder calls are one-way: a robot reads a line and hangs up. Opti knows your family calendar, so when it calls you can answer back — move the pickup, hand it to your partner, check what's next — and the calendar, the shopping list and the rest of the family are updated before you hang up.

What call alerts do

A call you can talk back to

"Hi Sam, it’s Opti. Kids’ pickup is at 3:15 — that’s in 20 minutes." Say "push it 30 minutes", "ask Alex to do it", "mark it done", "what’s next today?" or "add milk to the list", and it’s done before you hang up.

Never miss the must-not-miss

For a pickup or a child’s medicine, Opti sends a notification, then calls, then calls your backup person, then tells the family — and stops the moment anyone says "I’ve got it".

Everyone knows who has it

When someone confirms, the rest of the family is told who has it, so nobody double-drives and nobody assumes.

Calls only when they matter

Choose Call, Notify or Off for pickups, medications, appointments, bills and chores, and how many minutes before. Everything else stays a quiet notification.

Quiet hours by default

From 9:30 PM to 7:00 AM calls become notifications. Medication calls ring through only if you allow them.

Care check-ins for someone you love

"Good morning Rose, it’s Opti, calling for the family. Have you taken your blood-pressure tablet this morning?" Opti calls a grandparent at their medication time — even on a landline, even without the app. A "yes" logs the dose; "not yet" gets a call back in 15 minutes; no answer twice, or a worrying answer, and the family hears at once.

A summary after every call

Each call ends with a short summary in chat — "You moved Kids’ pickup to 3:45 PM. Alex was told."

Opti acts for you, and you can call Opti

For appointments, Opti checks live traffic and calls when it's time to leave. Running late? Say so on the call and Opti offers to ring the business and let them know. And your Opti line is a number you can call any time, hands-free, to hear what's on, add to the shopping list or set a reminder.

Private by design

Each adult chooses for themselves. Opti calls only verified mobiles, keeps no recording or transcript, talks only about your own, your children's and whole-family items, and says an item's title and time — never a dose, a condition or an amount.

Frequently asked questions

Who does Opti call?

Only household adults who turned calls on themselves, in their own app, and only on their verified mobile. Nobody can sign someone else up, and saying "stop" on any call turns calls off for that person.

What will Opti say on the phone?

The item’s title and time — "Leo’s medicine at 8 PM". It talks only about your own items, your children’s and whole-family items, never another adult’s, and never reads out dosages, conditions or amounts.

Can Opti call my mum or grandad, who doesn’t use the app?

Yes, with care check-ins. You add their number (a landline is fine), Opti confirms it with one short call, and on the first check-in Opti asks them if the calls are okay. If they say no, or say stop on any call, Opti never calls them again and tells you. Opti never gives medical advice: if they mention feeling unwell it tells the family right away and suggests calling their doctor or 911, and for chest pain, trouble breathing or a fall it tells them to hang up and call 911 now.

Are calls recorded?

No. There is no recording and no transcript. Opti keeps only what you asked it to do on the call, like "moved to 3:45 PM".

What does it cost?

Each connected call uses a few Opti Points (shown in Settings › Call alerts). Voicemail and missed calls are free.

Is it available now?

Call alerts are rolling out to US households. When it reaches your account, turn it on in Settings › Call alerts or just ask Opti: "call me 20 minutes before pickups".
