Only the two of you
Nobody else in the family can read it, and nobody can open a sealed letter early. Until its day, they see only who it is from and a countdown.
A parent looks first for under-13s
When a child under 13 writes a letter, a parent approves it once before it goes. After that it is just between the two of them.
